Ingredients

cup
unsweetened milk

(dairy, almond, coconut, or oat)

tsp
turmeric powder

(or 1-inch piece fresh turmeric, grated)
½
tsp
cinnamon
½
tsp
fresh ginger
,
(or ¼ tsp powdered)
Pinch of black pepper

tsp
raw honey or maple syrup (optional)

tsp
coconut oil or ghee
,
(optional, for extra creaminess and absorption)
Instructions
Add milk, turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, and black pepper to a small saucepan.
Heat gently over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring often—do not boil.
Remove from heat and let cool slightly.Stir in honey or maple syrup (if using).
Pour into a mug, sprinkle with extra cinnamon if desired, and enjoy warm.
NOTES
If you use
