FUNCTIONAL APPROACH TO PERSONAL TRAINING

I’m a personal trainer and a somatic exercise practitioner, with a functional medicine approach.

That means I don’t use workouts to punish your body. I use them to change your body and improve how you feel.

My workouts and exercise programs are designed to do all of this at once:

  • Burn fat and sculpt your shape

  • Build strength and muscle to boost metabolism

  • Support mood, energy, and nervous system regulation

  • Promote healing, so you feel better, not just smaller

Most personal trainers focus only on fat loss or building muscle.

Random workouts with no strategy or progression

HOW I BECAME A TRAINER

I became a trainer because workouts never worked for me the way they were “supposed to.”

After struggling with diets, I went all in on exercise.

I did tons of cardio, tried random workouts, and had no clue what to do with weights.

Trainers would try to sell me intense, expensive programs and tell me to push harder, but I had heart surgery as a kid, my joints hurt, and those workouts left me depleted.

And no matter how hard I trained, I still wasn’t getting definition or the body I wanted. 

I was getting big and bulky when I wanted to slim down, tone up, and have feminine curves.

So I studied. I learned from top mentors and bodybuilders and realized the truth: the wrong workouts on the wrong body give the wrong results.

Too much intensity can backfire and make fat more stubborn, hormones worse, and inflammation higher.

That’s when I built my functional approach to training: workouts that burn fat, build the right amount of muscle to boost metabolism, improve mood and energy, and support healing, not punishment.

I started training clients locally, then put my workouts on YouTube, and they took off.

Now I create programs women love because they actually work.  You burn fat, you tone up, you feel fantastic, and actually like exercise.

Most women don’t need more workouts. They need the right workouts for their body and goals.
