The Food Addiction Scale
The food mood connection/addiction starts EARLY. It’s often times reinforced by rewarding good behavior with food.
Report cards, winning a game, being a ‘good girl’ or ‘good boy’. This is how belief systems start.

Food marketers know how to get you hooked! They seduce you 24/7. They profit on your addiction.
A lot of people in food addiction think they need someone else to save them… when the reality is you have to save yourself.
Food addiction can be happening in your home and you don’t even know it. You may be bringing trigger foods into your home, not realizing you’re triggering your partner. A monkey can’t sell bananas. A food addict cannot have trigger foods around. It makes the struggle a lot harder.

Hi Christina. You just described everything I’ve been struggling with. I’m literally in tears because I know what I need to do, I do it really well for a period of time, and then….. call it whatever, reward, celebration, food boredom, just tired of not allowing myself that “treat”, I could go on!! I’m sure you’ve heard it all a million times. I’ve been on a weight loss and gain roller coaster for probably 20 plus yrs, but it got so much worse when I went through menopause. I wanted you to know this video really touched me, and I wanted to thank you for addressing it. I can’t afford your personal coaching sessions, but I found some other info you’ve posted and I’ll be watching each one. Thanks for understanding and being the lone voice in the wilderness!!
Now I’m in tears. Thank you for letting me know this helped you. You are not alone. I hear this every day and NOBODY talks about it… which is why I felt like I had to. I do understand… I’m right there with you. Hugs and Love xoxo CC
