This candida spit test is a must-try test!

Clients frequently tell me they have pesky pains and issues like cravings fatigue, brain fog, joint pain, breakouts, dandruff, and rashes.

They’re frustrated because they’re eating healthy, working out, and taking supplements, but their side effects never improve.

Years ago, I was experiencing a lot of the same symptoms.  I felt very frustrated, frumpy, and frazzled. It was almost impossible to stay positive, stop sugar and carb cravings, and stay motivated.

After months of misdiagnosis, medications, and suffering with nasty side effects, I learned I had a severe (AF) case of candida.

That’s why I’m sharing this post about candida and a super easy spit test you can use to see if you have candida!

You’ll learn what candida is, common symptoms of candida, and a simple test to see if you have candida.

If you haven’t heard of candida, then let me tell you – it’s an extremely difficult condition to diagnose, as it manifests in many, ugly ways.

What is Candida?

Candida is a form of yeast that’s part of the gut flora – a group of microorganisms that live in your mouth and intestine.

A normal level of candida is necessary and completely ok in the body.  Candida actually helps with digestion and nutrient absorption.

It’s typically found in the mouth, intestinal tract, and vagina, and can affect the skin and other mucous membranes.

When Candida Becomes a Problem

If the immune system is functioning optimally, this type of yeast infection is rarely serious.

However, if the immune system is not functioning properly the candida infection can migrate to other areas of the body, including the blood and membranes around the heart or brain.

Being sick weakens the immune system and allows the candida and opportunity to strengthen.  One round of antibiotics can cause candida overgrowth, too.  Toxic, sugary foods can trigger candida overgrowth in the digestive tract.

  • Once overgrown, candida can penetrate the lining of your digestive tract, causing leaky gut.
  • After candida leaks out into your bloodstream, it releases toxic byproducts throughout the body.
  • These toxins in your blood stream can alter the body’s pH, which causes inflammation and adversely affects your immunity.
  • The tricky part? Candida buries itself in biofilm so it’s harder to kill. Once hidden in biofilm candida can grow out of control making symptoms much worse.

COMMON CANDIDA SYMPTOMS

Some of the most common symptoms of candida include:

  • Carb/Yeast Cravings Bread, Beer, Baked Goods
  • Sugar/Sweets Cravings
  • Alcohol Cravings
  • Feeling Disconnected from Self
  • Poor memory
  • Brain fog
  • Mood Swings
  • Anxiety
  • Dandruff
  • Acne and Body Breakouts
  • Psoriasis
  • Rashes
  • Coated Tongue White or Yellow ‘Moss’
  • Fatigue
  • Acid Reflux
  • Gas and Bloating
  • Chronic Yeast infections
  • Post Nasal Drip
  • Chronic Sinusitis
  • Allergy Reactions
  • And more

The list goes on and on… and the more candida overgrows… the worse and more compounded these symptoms get.

These symptoms are often confused with other health issues… and are often misdiagnosed and treated.  The main symptom (for women) are chronic yeast infections.

NOTES ABOUT THE CANDIDA SPIT TEST

NOTE:  This is a home test that is not 100% reliable.

Lab tests like the ALCAT, blood work, stool analysis, and microscopic blood analysis can give a more accurate diagnosis…

However, if you’re experiencing these symptoms and see a positive result from the candida spit test, I’d recommend jumping on anti-candida protocol before it gets any worse.
