My inbox and DM’s have been popping lately with ladies asking me questions like
“How can I get rid of cellulite?”
“Do you have any workouts to get rid of cellulite?”
“I started noticing cellulite, how can I make it go away?”
Some ladies have it on their booty’s and legs and want to know how they can make their lumps and bumps go away so they can rock shorts and skirts with confidence.
Others said they started noticing cellulite pop up on their stomach… like WTF?!
Other still said they started to see it appear on their arms.
While everyone seems to have it on different parts of their body and wants to make their cellulite disappear… like YESTERDAY… everyone seems to be struggling to make it fade or prevent it from getting worse.
That’s what today’s episode of CCtv is all about… Cellulite. In this video, I’ll explain what cellulite is, what causes it, and things you can do to make it disappear THAT REALLY WORK… and I’m going to explain how.
*Straight Up* I’m going to tell you the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth… because you deserve it. I do need a solid 15 minutes to explain it all. I want to give you every juicy detail… if you can’t watch it now, pin this post so you can have it forever.
HOW TO GET RID OF CELLULITE
EXERCISE (more on this in detail in the video and below)
FOLLOWING A MEAL PLAN/DIET TARGETED TO FAT LOSS – It’s not just eating less and working out more… you have to eat to reduce the fat that’s pushing against your skin and causing the cellulite in the first place. To eat for fat loss you have to eat the right amounts, of the right nutrients, and the right times… i.e. You need a complete meal plan. Obvi I’m going to recommend mine… only because I know the work and they’ve already helped thousands of women transform their body’s and health.
MYOFASCIAL RELEASE TREATMENTS/FOAM ROLLING – This is the FoamMuscle Roller Stick I have, use, and like the most. This is what it looks like… Note: The rollers with spikes can actually make cellulite worse.
DRINK WATER– This helps flush sodium and keep you hydrated… which helps prevent skin elasticity from breaking down… you know how dehydrated/dry skin looks more wrinkled and cracked? Hydrating the skin helps keep it fresh, juicy, and plump.
AVOID WATER RETAINING FOODS – Sodium, Carbs, and Alcohol can cause water retention that can make skin lax… as a general rule of thumb, it’s best to avoid any processed (man-made) foods (that don’t rot or spoil). It’s also best to limit alcohol consumption. (For the best alcoholic drinks and tips click here)
SUPPLEMENT WITH COLLAGEN – THIS IS A BIG ONE! IT WORKS!! Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides is my favorite brand of collagen. I’ve tried a lot but this collagen is the best.
Heads up…. you’re going to have to get used to fast-growing hair (and nails), shaving your legs more, and seeing glowing vibrant skin. (Wrinkles can fade! Mine did!)
SALT AND COFFEE SCRUBS – As mentioned in the video, salt/caffeine scrubs are a temporary solution. They help puff up your skin and reduce cellulite when you’re showing more skin or getting ready for a special event. Mix 1/2 cup salt with 1/4 cup of coffee grounds… and dilute the granules in an oil of your choice (olive, grapeseed, coconut, jojoba, whatever you want) until you get a thick, but spreadable gritty paste… you want to avoid making it runny and soupy. Once you have your scrub made, gently scrub into your skin, polishing the areas where you want to puff up your bumps and lumps.
This is the pharmaceutical grade salt I use and recommend.
EXERCISES THAT HELP GET RID OF CELLULITE
Ideally, you need to follow a complete cardio and weight-training program in conjunction with your meal plan/diet…
To get started I recommend a minimum of 4, 30-minute cardio sessions a week.
I also recommend weight training at least 4 days a week, making sure you train all of the major muscle groups in your body at least one time. (Core, Lower Body, Chest/Triceps, and Back/Biceps) I have dozens of free workouts on my blog that address all of these areas. You can check them out here.
I find that most women want to target the cellulite directly under their booty’s at the top of their hamstrings. I made my BAM (booty/ham = BAM) workout to target that area. You can check out that workout here.
And that’s it. I hope this helped you!
If you truly want to lose weight, improve your health, cellulite, and confidence try my Total Transformation Program. You’ll get noticeable results in DAYS not weeks!! Guaranteed.
It only works if you work it, so work it. YOU are so worth it!

I never had cellulite until I hit my sixties. Looking forward to getting rid of it. Thanks for the tips and education !
You’re so welcome xoxoxo
Hi there – thanks for all of your work! You are missing a link in this article.
It’s also best to limit alcohol consumption. (For the best alcoholic drinks and tips click here). Click where? : )
Thanks!
Thanks for bringing that to my attention. I’ve added the link. Here’s the direct link 🙂 https://www.christinacarlyle.com/alcohol-and-weight-loss/
Very informative! I tried to look for this info about a month ago and was frustrated. I’m glad I stumbled on this today. 2 questions, if you have time…1) is homemade bone broth ok for the collagen? 2) I just tried a foam roller on my behind, but it doesn’t hurt at all–is there a way to get at the butt area?
Bone broth is great for cellulite. It’s a bit tedious to make as opposed to supplementing with collagen, though. Foam rolling doesn’t hurt like Myofascial release exercises. You can increase the pressure you’re putting on the roller to help increase it’s effectiveness.
Worth reading
You have another blog reviewing different types of proteins, based on that blog I am interested in taking Pea Protein for weight loss. But after reading this blog, I wonder if I can take both the Pea and the Vital Protein Collagen Beauty Greens Proteins??
I workout five times a week and eat well. I can gain muscle/weight easy, but I can loss it that easily. I want to do the Pea Protein for weight management and workout recovery. But I would love to get rid of the cellulite (as much as possible) and rip the benefits of healthier joints, hair, and nails. Biotin doesn’t seem to be very effective.
You can take both. I dissolve the collagen in my tea… and soups, and other drinks including protein shakes.
What is the name of the collagen vitamin that you take what is it called that way I can go ahead and buy the same thing and will it affect the metabolism or mood swings and women or is it just for growth skin and hair
Collagen isn’t a vitamin… I linked to the brand of collagen that I recommend in the post. It doesn’t affect mood or metabolism either, it helps build collagen.
Hello,
Thank you for the information, much appreciated! I’ve actually used a roller with spikes and in my case it did cause more cellulite 🙁 so I am in the process of reversing it. I am hoping the one you recommend will not do the same. Can you tell me a short version of why that happens sometimes.
TIA!
Hi Michelle! Sometimes rubbing the body too hard can break down the fascia and make the appearance of cellulite worse. This varies from person to person though. Maybe try the other tips and see if they help you more. xo CC
